Philanthropy

From the time of our founding, Alpha Delta Pi has believed in the importance of giving back to our community. A dedication to philanthropy guides our members to spend time in the service of those who need it most. Our international organization’s commitment to Ronald McDonald House Charities has led to the donation of over $15,000,000 over the course of our partnership. More than 350 Ronald McDonald Houses in 64 countries help keep families with seriously ill or injured children together when they need it most by offering them a comfortable, temporary residence in proximity to a medical facility.

Eta Xi has collectively logged over 200 service hours for the 2019-2020 school year. In the Eta Xi chapter, we host multiple events to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House Charities. Due to the restrictions of COVID-19, we were unable to host as many fundraising events as we usually do or volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Carolinas but found a safe way to keep raising money for our beloved philanthropy. We were able to purchase items that they were in need of and deliver them to the house, host a walkathon, host a flower drive, and host our annual "Pie a Pi" event.

Even with the restrictions, we were faced with during our school year due to COVID-19, the sisters of Eta Xi were able to raise over $3,000 dollars for the Ronald McDonald House Charities!

As of 2021, the Eta Xi chapter of Alpha Delta Pi was inducted into the million can-tab club through the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Carolinas! Collecting can tabs is a fun and easy way we give back to RMHC. Learn more at this link! -> https://rmhc-carolinas.org/participate/collect-pop-tabs/
